Don't panic! We'll send a team to the rescue right away! Leaks are often the result of a weakness in a roof's waterproofing, either generally or in one particular place. Damaged accessories, blocked drains, or deteriorating metal flashings can also cause water infiltration.
Water Infiltration
To quickly determine whether or not your roof is being damaged by water infiltration, let me check to see if there are stains on the ceiling, if paint is peeling, if there are weak or cracked sections of the roof, or bubbles on the roof covering. This will help me to pinpoint the source of the problem and then draw up a plan of action!

As you can see by looking at your roof, an inadequate slope does not allow water to run off properly, allowing puddles to form. These accumulations of water may be problematic if they do not disappear within 72 hours.

Before making changes to the insulation, we have to determine the type of system in place to best meet the needs of the building.
A number of variables must be considered when it comes to choosing insulation, such as tolerance to compression and the R-Value. Polystyrene foam and polyisocyanurate are, for this purpose, among the most common products for thermal roofing systems. For ventilated roofs, sprayed urethane, fibreglass, and cellulose are among the most recommended types of insulation.
Once the insulation phase is completed, we can install joists in the opposite direction. In addition to heightening the roof, this structural change allows maximum air circulation in the attic, among other benefits. This process also allows us to correct the slope!

A gap of air will thus be created between the roof and the new insulation to promote air circulation. Heat transfers will thereby be expelled and the formation of ice greatly diminished. This will automatically result in a reduced risk of water infiltration and a subsequent weakening of the structure due to excessive weight!
