The signs vary depending on the type of membrane; a rooftop terrace and a green roof require different expertise. The elastomer may have folds in the membrane, the covering may be abnormally deteriorated, and joints may be cracked. On the other hand, the asphalt membrane may be missing gravel or have bubbles or cracks in the covering.
